Flying squads recover Rs. 2.5 lakh cash in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar, April 5, 2019:

In a semi-controversial incident in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections, flying squads have recovered an amount of Rs. 2,50,000 in Assam’s Kokrajhar district.

The amount was nabbed by the authorities at Karigaon under Kokrajhar Police Station. The sizable amount of cash was seized from a certain Daniel Basumatary belonging to Dangshibari village in Assam’s Chirang district in an Alto K10 bearing the registration number AS 26A/6014.
