'Foodies World', the own pizza chain of the Northeast

'Foodies World' is one of those rare restaurants where everything is big, but the price is small. With lots of pizza chains to choose from, ‘Foodies World’ came into existence in Guwahati in 2014 with the first outlet in IIT Guwahati and stole the show.

A second outlet was opened at AK Azad Road, Rehabari with timings of 10.30 am-10 pm. The third outlet has been opened in Tura, Meghalaya and the fourth in Tezpur, Assam. One of the sole pizza restaurant chains in Assam, ‘Foodies World’ is famous in the streets of Guwahati for its ultimate pizzas which boast of soft and milky textured flour with flavored veggies and oozing cheese.

The pizza lovers of the town have a choice to explore more in Italian cuisine as 'Foodies World' has come up with many options at a reasonable price.

As one of the outlets is located close to one of the leading educational institutes of Guwahati, the students of IIT Guwahati love the outlet.

“We deliver to the dorms and it is a regular part of our business,” says Sohail Islam, operational manager of 'Foodies World'.

“The busiest times at the store are in the afternoon and the evening time. The medium sized ‘meaty affair’ and ‘veggie heaven’ pizzas are sold for Rs 288/- and Rs 320/-” Sohail adds.

“The menu at the outlet is one of the most extensive with 24 different toppings and five different sauces. This is a larger range of choices than most gourmet pizzas” said Sohail.

Some of the toppings include Appetizers, Baked Pasta, Burgers and Burger add-ons.

A most popular item of the outlet is their Chicken Makhani and Paneer Makhani. The cheesy garlic breadsticks and the Italian crust gives a better add on.

‘Foodies World’ has been nominated twice by the annual food awards of Guwahati Food Awards.
