FOUR KPLT (AT) CADRES & LINKMAN APPREHENDED WITH ARMS AND AMMUNITION

A Unit of Red Horns Division launched a series of Joint operations along with the Police force. The stringent was based on specific intelligence about presence of cadres of Anti talk faction of Karbi Peoples Liberation Tiger (KPLT) at multiple locations in West Karbi Anglong district from April 2^nd to 7^th. The Joint Operations team continuously tracked the movement of KPLT (AT) Cadres with effect from April 2^nd.  The apprehension of one cadre led to the other and finally four KPLT (AT) cadres and linkman on April 6^th.

Two 9 mm Beretta Pistols, one .32 mm Pistol, one .22 mm Pistol, nine live rounds, one fired case & ten fake extortion letters were recovered from apprehended Cadres. The successful Joint Operation has dealt a blow to the plans of KPLT (AT) faction which has been lately trying to establish it’s prominence in Karbi Anglong Districts
