The carcass of a four-month-old female rhino was found in the Kohora range of Kaziranga National Park on Wednesday.
The forest guards spotted the rhino and called the veterinarians who declared the rhino to be dead after checking the body.
Earlier this morning, another dead body of a male rhino was spotted by the locals in Agoratoli Range under Kaziranga National Park and informed the forest department.
As of now, four rhino deaths have been reported dead by the department.

As per the departmental reports, a total of 17 wild animals have died till now. As many as 9 deer have been killed in accidents and 7 deer have been killed due to flood. Meanwhile, out of the 14 rescued deer, 10 have been freed into the forest area after medical assistance and the rest 4 are undergoing treatment.
As per official reports, out of the 199 camps of the Kaziranga National Park, 158 have been affected by the floods and 90% of the National Park is reportedly submerged by flood waters. Four One-Horned Rhino Dead in Kaziranga due to Floods
