Free Aadhaar enrollment for students of all schools in Assam will be launched on 9th November, 2020 by the Deputy Commissioners in all the districts of Assam and the Chief Secretaries of the districts included in Schedule 6.
This initiative is taken by the education department of the Government of Assam.
Applicable for students between the age group of 6 yrs. to 18 yrs.
Students of Government / Provincial Schools, Tea Garden Schools, Adarsh Vidyalayas, Kasturba Gandhi Girls' Schools, Special Training Centers,

Residential Schools, Government Aided Schools (Recognized), un-recognized Schools, Local organisational schools, Schools under Social Welfare, Central Schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, private schools are eligible for the enrollment.
Similarly, The Government of India, also issued a blue-colored Aadhaar card known as Baal Aadhaar, for children below the age of 5 years.
Aadhaar enrollment for children is quite similar to the process for adults.
You need to take your child to the nearest Aadhaar enrollment center and fill in the enrollment form.
The card will be issued free of cost.
However, there will be no biometric data captured in the case of children below 5 years.
