Fuel prices continue to rise, Petrol reaches Rs 82.40 per litre in Guwahati

Guwahati, October 12, 2018:

Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise making it tough for the general public to commute as on Friday the price of petrol per litre reached Rs 82.40 while per litre diesel reached Rs 75.83 in Guwahati.

Although the central and state government jointly reduced the price of fuel by Rs 5 in Assam but the price kept on "skyrocketing".

As on Friday the price per litre petrol in Dhubri is Rs 83.08, Rs 82.51 in Kokrajhar, Rs 82.46 in Silchar, Rs 82.50 in Golaghat and Rs 82.81 in Jorhat.

On the other side, per litre diesel has reached Rs 75.92 in Golaghat, Rs 76.46 in Dhubri, Rs 75.93 in Kokrajhar, Rs 75.86 and Rs 76.21 in Jorhat.
