A galaxy of Bollywood stars has descended in Guwahati for the 65th edition of the Filmfare Awards, to be held on 15 February.
Several Bollywood stars have already arrived in Guwahati at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport (LGBI) and were greeted by enthusiastic fans at the airport. Many of the stars could also be seen wearing the traditional Assamese gamusa around their necks.

Stars such as Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Adil Hussain, Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan will participate in the gala event in Guwahati, Assam.
Altogether 150 Assamese artistes will perform in the mega event, and three of the performances will focus on the Assamese culture – Bihu, Sattriya and tribal dance.
The programme will be hosted by noted director Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal. According to arrangements, the audience will have to take their seats by 5.30 pm and the mega event will begin at 6 pm.
The event will be held in Sarusajai stadium in Guwahati.
