GUWAHATI: In view of the COVID-19 situation, the Gauhati High Court on Monday took the decision to further extended all interim orders passed by the High Court and all other subordinate Courts and Tribunals till June 21.
“…Taking into consideration the prevalent Covid-19 situation, Hon'ble the Gauhati High Court has been pleased to extend the norms and guidelines as specified in the above mentioned Notifications/Order for a period of 1 (one) week, with effect from 15th June, 2021 upto 21s June, 2021”, the official notification read.

The Court had further extended its previous order dated May 29 wherein it had extended the interim orders passed by it, its outlying Benches, and other Courts and Tribunals till June 15, 2021.
The HC had recently ordered that any decree for eviction/ dispossession or demolition should remain in abeyance as decided by a full bench headed by Chief Justice.
