Assam Congress leader and MP Gaurav Gogoi is part of 5 member committee constituted by Sonia Gandhi to discuss and formulate Congress' stands on key ordinances promulgated by Central Government.

The members of the Committee are:

P Chidambara, Digvijaya Singh, Jairam Ramesh, Amarr Singh and Gaurav Gogoi.

Gaurav Gogoi is an Indian politician of Indian National Congress from Indian state of Assam. He contested for the Indian general election Indian general election 2014 and 2019 from Kaliabor seat and won. Gaurav left his job at Airtel to join a Delhi-based NGO called Pravah in 2005.
