GCC students shine brightest in Commerce Stream in Kamrup (M)

Guwahati, May 25, 2019:

With three students placing in the top 5 ranks in the HS examination results declared by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), Guwahati Commerce College (GCC) has excelled in the Kamrup (M) district of Assam.

From GCC, Neha Agarwalla secured the 3rd rank, while Arunabh Nath secured the 4th and Rahul Roy bagged the 5th rank, respectively.

It is to be mentioned that Nalbari has registered the highest pass percentage under the Commerce stream in the HS examinations. Nalbari has performed the best among all the districts of the state with 97.79 pass percentage, while with 95.60 Dhemaji stands at the second position and Nagaon with 95.14 has clinched the third spot.

Meanwhile, Ashim Sarkar from Vivekanand Junior College of Cachar topped the HS examinations with a score of 474 marks in the Commerce stream.

The 2nd position has been jointly secured by Nibedita Gogoi from Crescent Academy of Jorhat and Ayushi Jain from KC Das Commerce College of Kamrup(R) scoring 468 marks.

While, Arunabh Nath from Gauhati Commerce College, Kamrup(R) secured the 4th position by scoring 461 marks.

This year, as many as 17,797 candidates appeared for the examination and 15,589 cleared their examination in the Commerce stream.

The AHSEC has announced various websites and a mobile app to check the results which are available since 9:00 am on Saturday. The list of websites are:
