GIMT student allegedly commit suicide

Guwahati, November 18, 2018:

A student of Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) allegedly committed suicide in his room at a private hostel on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Bhargav Bhattacharji, a third semester student of the Civil Engineering branch.

Speaking to InsideNE, Officer-in-Charge Ashok Dutta, Azara Police Station confirming the incident and said, “We were informed about the incident at around 12 in the noon today. The owner of the private hostel informed us. The boy originated from Naharijan, Bokakhat. No individual has been detained in relation to the case”
