GNRC Ward Boy Arrested for allegedly molesting Patient

Guwahati (Assam), August 21, 2018:

A ward boy of the GNRC Hospital was arrested on Monday night for allegedly molesting a female patient inside the hospital.

The arrested ward boy has been identified as Hemen Deka.

As per the attendant, Deka molested the patient when she was alone in the cabin. Following these allegations, the family lodged an FIR at the Dispur Police Statin and then Deka was arrested. He is currently being interrogated by the police. Following the incident, a case was registered at Dispur PS by the family members of the patient.
