GOLD SMUGGLERS GOT ARESSTED IN HOJAI DISTRICT OF ASSAM

Guwahati has become a safe transit route to smuggle gold these days. The officers of Anti-Smuggling Unit, Customs Divisions successfully seized 11 Gold biscuits of foreign origin having a total weight of 1431.970 gms .The whole weight of the gold biscuits valued of Rs 44,96,385 which was transited from Hojai District of Assam. One of the smugglers have been arrested by the officers. Further, the investigation process regarding the gold smuggling case is going on.
