Hailakandi, November 25, 2018:
Gunotsav Phase II which remained inconclusive will be conducted in Hailakandi district on November 27.
Disclosing this, District Development Commissioner cum District Mission Coordinator, SSA Mission, Hailakandi, FR Laskar said Gunotsav II which could not be held in two schools on day three due to unavoidable reasons on October 11 has now been rescheduled on November 27.
Laskar directed the officers, faculty members, post graduate teachers who were posted as
external evaluators in the schools of Cachar district from Hailakandi to report to their respective schools on November 27.
The DDC further said in view of the ensuing Panchayat election slated for December 9, the magistrates, zonal officers, sector officers and authorised officers drafted for election duty are exempted from conducting the school assessment, as per direction of the District Election Officer.
In an order, the Assam State Election Commission has asked all the District Election Officers and Subdivisional Officers (Civil) not to engage officials and employees drafted for election duty in any other duty for smooth and hassle-free conduct of the election.
