Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli has urged the district’s schools to adopt the best education practices in order to improve the overall school administration.
The DC held a meeting on Wednesday in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), of Hailakandi and discussed the education parameters with the heads of 64 high schools.
Jalli harped on the need to improve school administration, learn from sister institutions of excellence, and ensure their cooperation in scoring better pass percentage in 10th and 12th Classes. She urged the schools to adopt the best education practices to achieve academic excellence.
The Principal of JNV, VK Yadav also emphasized on better classroom management to improve the board exam results. Inspector of Schools, Rajiv Kumar Jha highlighted the performances of various schools.
“The idea behind holding the meet was to induce the feeling of contributing to the system. The field tour to JNV was to motivate the head of institutions to adopt the best practices there to bring about better learning outcomes in their schools,” said Jha. He added that the schools known for their academic excellence should give back to society by collaborating with schools. This would be a collaborative initiative ranging from giving academic input, academic planning to classroom activity.
The meeting ended with a unanimous resolution to implement good practices in schools and ensure pass percentage in board exams from the next academic session.
