Hardcore NDFB-S cadre arrested in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar (Assam), September 20, 2018:

A hardcore cadre of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland-Saraigwra (NDFB-S) was arrested by a team of  the 31^st Battalion of the SSB and police from Nabin Nagar in kokrajhar.

A police source said that on the basis of specific input, a joint operation was carried by the team in the forest area of Nabin Nagar. During the search operation, the team succeeded in apprehending suspected person. On primary interrogation it was found that  the person is an operative of the banned NDFB-S.

The person identified as David Mushahary was found to be a trained cadre of the 39^th batch. The team recovered one factory made pistol, one magazine and four bullets.

He is accused of being involved in several crimes in the area.
