GUWAHATI: Khanindra Kumar Barman who is an employee at the post of Assistant Enforcement Inspector in the District Transport Office (DTO), Kamrup (Rural) recently received his Ph.D. degree from Gauhati University (GU).
Khanindra Barman who originally belongs to Belsore, Nalbari is residing in Rukminigaon, Guwahati, Assam for his job.
He did his Ph. D in the topic "Asamar Bibah Paddhati; Boibidhya Aru Boichitra " under the guidance of Dr. Dilip Borah, Professor, GU, MIL department.
He completed his Ph.D. while working as a full-time employee. Barman's interest in education led him to success and the completion of his Ph.D.

With his big achievement, he has become an inspiration to the whole department of DTO, Kamrup (R) as well as many people in the state.
Following his success, his department held a small program to felicitate Barman for his achievement on August 2.
Barman was facilitated with 'Assamese Gamosa', 'Japi', 'Sarai', and a flower bouquet.
The entire department is proud that Barman won a doctorate degree while still working.
Barman expressed his gratitude towards the department and everyone for their support throughout his journey.
