GUWAHATI: The results of the Higher Secondary (HS) final year and High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations will be declared by July 31, 2021, said Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu.
Talking to the media, minister Pegu said that the state education department has been preparing the results to be declared by July 31.
The results will be announced in accordance with the state government's different assessment methods.
Considering the COVID situation in the state, on June 18 the Assam government cancelled the exams
According to the government's different assessment methods, the students’ performance in previous tests and other teaching-learning activities will be used to calculate results this year.

Worth mentioning is that after announcing that the SEBA and AHSEC will conduct board examinations in mid-July, the Assam government on June 18 declared to scrap the exams and minister Pegu announced the formation of two committees to create evaluation criteria, with results declared by July 31.
