Huge quantity of IMFL from Arunachal seized in Charaideo

Guwahati, November 30. 2018:

A huge quantity of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from Arunachal Pradesh was seized by the Sapekhati Police in Charaideo on Friday.

Police official said that they seized about 150 cartons of liquor which was being illegally transported for sale in Sonari.

One person named Bikash Gogoi was detained in connection with the case. He has been accused of selling the IMLF at a much higher rate in Assam by evading excise duty.

Currently, an investigation is going on.
