I will give Himanta Biswa Sarma my position if he joins AIUDF: Badruddin Ajmal

Guwahati, November 26, 2018:

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal on Monday stated that he would willingly give away his position to Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma if he joins AIUDF.

Ajmal made the comment while addressing the media during the party election campaign in Dhubri.

The AIUDF chief also alleged that the exclusion of 40 lakh people from the National Register of Citizens (NRC) is a deep conspiracy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) especially on the Assamese people of Assam be it Hindu or Muslim.

He added, “The BJP has scheduled the last date of claims and objectives of the NRC and Panchayat accordingly so that the poor people get tangled with the need of money from panchayat works. But the people are unaware that if their names do not appear in the NRC they will be declared foreigner and will lose their land and all other rights. The BJP has planned to declare these 40 lakh people as banglashi.”
