Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken the ideology of Hindu Rastra way too seriously in recent times. This was prominently visible as the much-debated politician said that India has always Hindu Rastra since 5000 years.
Addressing the media, Sarma said, “India is a Hindu Ratra since 5000 years and the Constitution is just an official language where it is said that India will be secular but the 5000-year-old history cannot be denied. Hinduism has been flourishing since those days. The Mughals came to India and with them they brought Islam, Buddhist brought Buddhism.”
Speaking on the line of showing Black Flag, Sarma Said, “Today if eight people stand in protest with Black Flag, tomorrow the Bharatiya Yuva Morcha will take forward 800 people against them.”
The statement of such supreme policymakers have raised a question on the Constitution of India, its policies and the secularity it claims of providing to its citizen.
