The Indigo Airlines flight was headed from Hyderabad to Guwahati, but was compelled to make an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Odisha due to the unruly behavior of one of the passengers who has been identified as Irshad Ali.
Irshad was handed over to airport officials after the Indigo Airlines plane made the emergency landing.
As per reports, he was headed to Guwahati along with a friend due to the demise of his mother. Irshad had been working in an ice cream parlour in Hyderabad for the last five years.
It has been alleged that Ali started using foul language in the aircraft without any reason. At one point, he even tried to open the door of the aircraft, causing much alarm among the passengers.
