Guwahati, July 5, 2019:

Japanese Encephalitis claimed the life of one more at Margherita region. Abhijan Gogoi, resident of Makumqilla Margherita prominent, a folk artist, Pepa, Gogona and drum maker passed away on Thursday at a private hospital in Dibrugarh.

Folk artist Abhijan Gogoi was affected from Japanese Encephalitis where he was admitted since June 24.

Margherita Journalists Association, Tinsukia District Journalists Association, All Assam Athletics Association President, Youth and Student Welfare Advisory Board Member Secretary Lakhya Konwar, Margherita Regional Student Union, AJYCP Margherita Regional Committee, Margherita District Sports Association and many organizations of Margherita have condoled the death of upcoming youth.

Abhijan Gogoi left behind his father, mother, wife and one daughter and a host of relatives.
