Journalist in Assam allegedly commits suicide

Guwahati, December 8, 2018:

A journalist, Amarendra Choudhury from Lanka in Assam, has allegedly committed suicide on Saturday.

According to reports, he was working for one of the leading local satellite media houses of the state.

Choudhury was found hanging in his room. The reason behind his death was not known. The police and the magistrate of the area visited the site of incident for investigation.
