Dr Rishi Das, who is the president of Tinsukia District Journalists Association in a press release said that if any media persons of Tinsukia District are involved in illegal coal trade and travel abroad on coal money, then Pradyut Bordoloi should immediately disclose there names and strict action shall be taken against those journalists.

The Nowgong MP Bordoloi that the Assam CM is mum despite the fact that this illegal activity has been going on right under their noses and stated that this 'rat-hole' mining is completely illegal.
