GUWAHATI: The festival of Holi or ‘Dol Yatra’ (March 29) has been declared a local holiday in Guwahati.

The Kamrup (Metro) district administration has issued an order on this today.

According to the official release, all state government, semi-government offices, revenue courts, as well as educational institutions across the districts will remain closed tomorrow.

Furthermore, both social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines must be observed during the Holi celebration, the order stated.

Meanwhile, in order to maintain public order, ‘Dry Day is being observed in Kamprup (M) and Dibrugarh district following an order released by the district administrations.
