KARIMGANJ: Karimganj's tally of active COVID-19 cases has reached 303 after as many as 74 new cases reported today.
34 patients infected with the virus have so far been discharged during the day.
However, no death due to the infection have been reported in the district during the day.
According to health authorities, 638 swab samples have been collected today.

Meanwhile, the Dibrugarh, Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) authority has closed the Outpatient Department (OPD) services for the next 14 days to deputise the medical staff in COVID-19 wards with immediate effect and until further order.
Assam on the other hand recorded 55 more deaths due to COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, taking the death toll in the state to 1,485, while 4,826 fresh positive cases took the tally to 2,72,751.
Assam currently has 29,915 active COVID-19 cases.
