The Kaziranga National Park will be opened for tourists from October 12.
According to park officials, only the Kahora and Bagori ranges will be opened for tourists. The tourists can avail of the service of elephant safari from that day.
The park has introduced an app, called “e-control”. This is for the safety of the animals. During every flood in the park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, animals die either by drowning or by coming under the wheels of speeding vehicles
