KMSS PROTEST AGAINST CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL 2016

KMSS lodged protest against the most debated bill in the state.

Akhil Gogoi’s Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) staged protest in the Premises of District Commissioner’s  office in Golaghat today. Raged at the provisions of the Citizenship Amendment Bill, the organization slammed the bill.

The organization opposed the bill saying that the it is a mechanism adopted by BJP to harbour the Hindu Bangladeshis. They voiced their protest over the concern to protect the indigenous people of Assam. They said that the adoption of the bill will have adverse implications over the people of the state.
