KOKRAJHAR: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) in the Bodo Territorial Region (BTR) today held a press meet in Kokrajhar over the sensational news of the killing of two innocent youths as United Liberation for Bodoland (ULB) cadres on September 18.

The deceased have been identified as--Jwngsar Musahary, a resident of Salguri of Patgaon, and Janak Kumar Brahma, from Parbatjhara under Kokrajhar district.

They lost their lives in a police encounter in the Ultapani forest area, where the Kokrajhar unit of Assam Police has busted a newly formed militancy group ULB camp as per police information.

While Police have claimed that the two were cadres of ULB, the villagers and the militant group itself claimed that the youths were not their members.

Villagers called it a planned cold-blooded murder.

He further demanded an apology for the killing of two innocent youths in the name of ULB.

Mushahary said, " We can not trust the Kokrajhar Police Department, they killed innocent people in the name of an encounter."
"If we can not trust on the police whom shall we trust on?, he asked

Speaking about the role of Pramod Boro, BTR chief', Mushahary, stated that the people who made Boro win and brought him in power as the chief of the region now refuse to speak in fevour of them, Why Pramod Boro is not reacting to the matter. Is he scared of police?, he said.
