Kokrajhar Youth Congress Leader Attacked in Dhubri

Dhubri, August 25, 2019:

In a shocking incident, a Youth Congress leader was mercilessly attacked by a group of miscreants. Maidul Islam, who is the Vice President of the Kokrajhar Unit Youth Congress, was attacked by a group of miscreants in Tamarhat area of Dhubri district in Assam.

The Kokrajhar Congress leader was attacked with sharp weapons when he was returning back home. He has been shifted to a hospital in Bongaigaon with critical injuries.

It is not yet known why the Congress leader was attacked. A case has been registered in the local police station.
