Large amount of marijuana recovered in Guwahati

Guwahati, April 27, 2019:

The train checking staff of Guwahati Railway Police on Wednesday recovered a large amount of marijuana during regular checking at around 7:30 am on Saturday.

The authorities apprehended a person named Siv Kumar (26), a resident of Samastipur, in Bihar from Down Rajdhani Express, Seat no. 14, Coach no. A/4 along with 15 kilos of the substance. He was moving from Guwahati to Samastipur.

A case under Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985 has been registered.
