Locals Cry Foul after Goreswar Road Breaks Down a Day after 'Repair'

Guwahati, September 12, 2019:

Another complaint has been made against the department of PWD after Boigola Path, connecting the Goreswar- Andherighat road has been damaged after a day of reconstruction.

The locals of Goreswar alleged that the contractor has been using cheap quality materials to construct the road and has been involved in corruption.

The locals mentioned that the blacktopping of the road has been damaged a mere day after it was repaired. There has been no proper use of the methodology in the construction of the road, due to which the road got damaged in such a short span.

Allegations have also been made that the concerned minister and local MLA Bhabesh Kalita have been ignorant over the matters relating to road construction.
