Pramod Boro, Bhabesh Kalita receive Grass Seeds from Debabrata Saikia, Here's Why?

Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party state President Bhabesh Kalita and BTR Cheif Pramod Boro have received 4 kilos of grass seeds which were sent by the Leader of Opposition Debabrata Saikia.

The seeds were sent so that both of them could "produce 26 litres of milk" as claimed by the Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma.

CM Sarma during the poll campaigns had said that since Congress has no government in the state, there is no chance of getting any milk from the state whereas, one can get 26 litres of milk from the BJP.

Following this statement, Debabrata Saikia sent the seeds for the BJP and UPPL leaders so that they can produce more milk for the people of the state.

Debabrata Saikia said since the Chief Minister is more concerned about the food habits of the people in the state, with the increase in their milk production, he can now ask the people of the state if they had "kheer" instead of poita bhaat.

He added that BJP was already giving 5 kilos of food grains to the people now they will also be able to give them milk.

The seeds were send to improve their productivity, he added.
