GUWAHATI: An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale jolted Assam in the early hours of Friday (November 13). This is the latest in a series of quakes that have been felt in the Northeast Indian region.
The National Centre for Seismology has discloaed that the tremors were felt at 3:23 am in the morning today.

It further added that the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 11 km. The origin of the earthquake was 61 kilometers north of Dimapur, Nagaland.
No losses of lives or property has been reported so far.
