MAN ARRESTED FOR RUNNING WEBSITE IN THE NAME OF JADAV PAYENG

Jorhat police has arrested one Anil Kumar Gade for illegally creating and running a website in the name of ‘the forest man of India’, Jadav Payeng and looting tourists by luring them of a trip to his forest popularly known as ‘Mulai Kathoni”. Jadav Payeng  has alleged that Gade has been running the website for quiet some time and looting tourists including foreigners. Gade has also allegedly taken money from film makers for allowing them to shoot documentaries in Jadav Payeng’s forest. Payeng alleged that he had on several occasion asked Gade to close the website but he never paid heed to it. Finally, Payeng lodge a complaint at the Jorhat Sadar Police Station regarding the matter and subsequently Gade was arrested. Gade at present is being interrogated by the Jorhat police to find out how many people he has duped till now.
