Many from BTC areas have missed NRC bus: Hagrama

Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary on Saturday said a large number of people from BTC areas were left out of the complete draft of National Register of Citizens (NRC).

“Those whose names did not get included in NRC, they will be given a chance to know the reasons of their exclusion and object from August 7. They need not worry about it as they can reapply for the same,” Mohilary said.

On the protests being staged by Trinamool Congress against NRC, he said, “I am unaware of the politics going on between TMC and BJP”.
