ASSAM: MASS SATYAGARHA AGAINST CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL

The whole state is protesting for the citizenship amendment bill in every district. The All Assam Students Union staged a mass satyagraha against the citizenship amendment bill in Lakhimpur, today, demanding immediate dismal of the bill. They also raised demands like the constitutional safeguard of the people, control of infiltration, sealing of the Indo-Bangladesh border, and bilateral treaty to be signed between the India and the Bangladesh government for the deportation of the illegal immigrants.
