70 ethnic organisations of Assam led by Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS),will start ‘Sankalp Sikha Yatra’ from four different locations of the State on November 11 in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.
Members of KMSS, Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) and other ethnic organisations will begin the ‘Sankalp Sikha Yatra’ bike-rally from Sadiya, Dhubri, Diphu and Jonai on November 11 which will culminate in Guwahati on November 16.
A protest will also be staged against the controversial bill in front of Janata Bhawan on the same day.
The protestors will also demand the state government to clear its stand on the bill.
