Minor reshuffle in Assam police

Guwahati (Assam), 1 August 2018:

The Assam government on Wednesday effected a minor reshuffle in police administration.

According to a notification issued by the Home department, Utpal Bayan, APS, Commandant of 2nd AFPF Bn, Jagiroad, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Security (II) to Chief Minister against an existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking over charge.

Arnab Deka, APS, Commandant of 11th APBn, Dergaon, Golaghat, has been transferred and posted as Commandant of 2nd AFPF Bn, with effect from the date of taking over charge.

Lastly, Harekrishna Nath, APS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operation), Assam, Guwahati, has been transferred and posted as Commandant of 11th APBn, Dergaon, Golaghat, with effect from the date of taking over charge.
