Kokrajhar, August 22, 2019:

Kokrajhar's Lok Sabha MP, Naba Kumar Sarania, has informed that he will form a new political party and expressed confidence of sweeping 35 seats in Bodoland Territorial (BTAD).

Sarania's stated aim is to safeguard the rights of the non-Bodos living in Bodoland.

"Last time we expected about 25-27 seats but this time we expect to win 35 seats, and we will be successful", said Sarania.

He added that protests and politics are on two different sides and Bodos should understand the issues of non-Bodos and both communities come forward and help each other.

The MP further added that the issue between the tribals and non-tribals will only be resolved if they come forward and work together, and added that the answer to the strife is Political understanding

"Our a aim is to provide the people with their deserved rights", and urged both the Bodos and non-Bodos to join his new political party to fulfil the motive.
