Keeping pace with the rising number of female two-wheeler riders in Guwahati city of Assam, 'Mirchi 95 FM' is organizing an all-women two-wheeler rally on the eve of International Women's Day (March 7).
Onen Nenty, an ambassador of Nagaland tourism, has confirmed her participation in the event. Several high-profile bikers from across the city will be a part of this one-of-a-kind rally!
Talking to Inside NE, Onen said, "The basic purpose of this rally will be to encourage women to be self-dependent. A two-wheeler is timely and is a step in the right direction. Onen, a 29-year-old biking enthusiast, made headlines when she toured all the districts of her home state Nagaland to spread the message of 'woman empowerment.'
On March 7 next, the all-women two-wheeler rally shall be flagged off from the National Livestock Mission Campus in Khanapara, Guwahati. It shall commence to the flyover in Bhangagarh, from where the riders shall return back to the origin point.
