Nagaon Paper Mill workers stage protest

Guwahati (Assam), September 12, 2018:

The Nagaon Paper Mill (NPM) workers staged a protest on National Highway 37 on Wednesday.

The protestors demanded revival of the non-functioning NPM and Cachar Paper Mill and release of pending salaries of two years. They criticized Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for his alleged lack of initiatives in reviving the two mills.
