NDFB (S) rebel held in Chirang

Guwahati (Assam), September 10, 2018:

The Army and the Assam Police apprehended a National Democratic Front of Bodoland-Saraigwra (NDFB-S) cadre hiding in a hotel at Paul Para from Chirang on Sunday.

The accused has been identified as Filiman Narzary, a close associate of neutralised NDFB (S) cadre Jordan Narzary. Filiman has been involved in numerous cases of extortion and also had a warrant pending against him.

His arrest has dealt a severe blow to the outfit and its extortion racket
