Ministers from North East have boarded the flights to catch- up the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will be taking the oath as PM for the second time on Thursday.
To attend the swearing-in ceremony, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Meghalaya Cm Conrad K Sangma, North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor Himanta Biswa Sarma, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Ranjit Dass and other top leaders of the party have boarded the flights.
BJP’s allies from the North East, especially the party presidents, vice- presidents, and general secretary have also moved to Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi to attend the ceremony.
Chairmen of the party from the North East have gone to attend the ceremony. Along with them, almost all the Zila presidents have also moved to the state capital to witness the swearing-in of the ceremony of the party leader.
It is to be mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will swear-in as the PM for the second time. The swearing-in will be administered by President Ram Nath Kovind.
Over 8,000 guests from across the country and abroad has been invited to take part in the ceremony. 10,000 security personnel have been deployed for the entire ceremonial period and over 2,000 security personnel have been deployed in the route through which PM Modi and other foreign dignitaries will pass to the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Celebrities to film stars will also attend the ceremony. Business tycoon Bill Gates has also been invited for the same. Most of the Indian business personalities like Anil Ambani, Ratan Tata, and others are expected to be present during the swearing-in ceremony.
The ceremony is scheduled at 7 pm in the evening.
