NHM appoints 700 staff nurses

Guwahati, December 3, 2018:

Despite of the All Assam Nurses’ Association (AANA) protesting over issues related to appointment of nurses, the National Health Mission (NHM), Assam has appointed 700 staff nurses on contractual basis on Sunday.

Reportedly, the interviews were conducted till late night.

It may be mentioned that the AANA on Monday took out a state-wide indefinite protest demanding same salary of the Staff Nurse Service rule for staff nurse. The AANA demanded salary anomaly correction of staff nurse in Rule of Pay (RoP) 7th pay and productivity committee 2017 and the correction of establishment of staff nurse designations as per norms.
