GUWAHATI: The North-East India buyer-seller meet will be held on March 22 at North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) house in Guwahati, Assam.
The programme will be organised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) with an aim to create a platform for both the buyers and the sellers.
The Buyer-Seller Interaction, on the other hand, will provide sellers with detailed information about the buyer's requirements.

As part of the first step, the event will provide a platform for one-to-one interaction between entrepreneurs from Assam as well as from the rest of India, and Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Myanmar.
The event will boost understanding of the Northeast regional markets, and make understand about needs and device means for the development of various industries.
Focused sectors of the meet are--agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, medicinal plants and herbal products, tourism, handloom and handicrafts, education, health, textiles, energy, and others.
