The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to add additional coaches in some trains connecting to important cities in Upper Assam and Lower Assam in view of the ongoing flood situation in the State. The announcement was made through an official release on Tuesday.
As per the official statement issued by the Chief Public Relation Officer of NF Railway, Pranav Jyoti Sharma, one second class coach will be added in 12068/12067 Guwahati-Jorhat Town Jan Shatabdi Express, 55752/55726 New Jalpaiguri-Alipurduar Jn Passenger, 55753/55754 Alipurduar Guwahati Passenger, 15717/15718 Guwahati-Marlani Passenger, 55820/55819 Guwahati-Mendipathar passenger from July 17 to July 24, 2019.

Also, two second class coaches will be added in 15928/15927 New Tinsukia- Rangiya Express on July 17th, 20th, 21st, 23rd and 24th, 2019 from New Tinsukia and on July 19th, 20th, 22nd and 23rd, 2019 from Rangiya while 15968/15967 Dibrugarh-Rangiya Express on July 18th, 19th and 22nd, 2019 from Dibrugarh and on July 17th, 18th, 21st and 24th, 2019 from Rangiya.
