Northeast Leaders to Connect with Youth at the 'INSIDENE Youth Conclave 2019'

Guwahati, November 25, 2019:

Inside Northeast is ready with its annual flagship event, the Inside Northeast Youth Conclave, 2019. Aimed at bringing the young minds and leaders under one roof, the INSIDENE Youth Conclave is just four days away.

INSIDENE’s annual event plans to initiate discussions on some of the contemporary and burning issues of the Northeast region.

It will be held on November 30 at the Pragjyotish ITA Centre in Guwahati’s Machkhowa, where the city’s mega events are held.

The aim of this year’s event is to provide a medium for the youth to connect with the leaders and experts.

With the theme of Northeast – A Look Ahead, the INSIDENE Youth Conclave 2019 aims to shed light on the future of the Northeast States, with special emphasis on boosting trade, sports, tourism, entrepreneurship and cinema.

The Conclave will be featuring some of the leading political figures of the Northeast – Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Assam Minister of Finance, Health & Family Welfare Himanta Biswa Sarma, Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Y Joykumar Singh, Assam Minister of Education Siddhartha Bhattacharya and many more.

Nagaland Minister of Higher & Technical Education Temjen Imna Along, Senior Congress Leader Jairam Ramesh, Indigenous People’s Leader Pradyot Manikya, Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary, Founder & Editor, Eastern Sentinel, Arunachal Pradesh Jarpum Gamlin, Lok Sabha MP, Mizoram, C Lalrosanga and MLA Arunachal Pradesh, Ninong Ering are some of the main Speakers of the day-long event.

Apart from bringing the leaders of the region together on one stage, the event will also feature the Founding Editor, The Wire, Siddharth Varadrajan, Political Editor of WION, Editor-in-Chief, The Shillong Times, Journalist-Author Sangeeta Barooah Pisharoty and Political Satirist, popularly known as DeshBhakt Akash Banerjee will also be joining the Youth Conclave to discuss New Media as the voice of democracy.

The event’s intention is to share the issues and collectively come up with ideas to dwell on and act upon.

The young minds are expected to know more about the region and take away a wealth of information on the current issues at the end of the event.
