Now, MNS seeks NRC for Maharashtra

Guwahati, Assam, 31 July 2018:

As the ruckus in Parliament over publication of complete draft of National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Assam that left out 40 lakh individuals continued 24 later, demand for NRC has now been raised in Maharashtra too.

Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) raised this demand in Mumbai on Tuesday.

MNS alleged that a huge number of Bangladeshis are residing in Maharashtra, including Mumbai.
